As a part of our ongoing Artist Highlight series, Stoked is proud to present the unique work of Danny Clinch. This stunning photograph will be available for bid at the Stoked on Spring event this Wednesday, May 19, at Milk Gallery.
Clinch’s unobtrusive style, his love for music and his talent have made him one of the most sought-after photographers in entertainment. His reputation for taking intense and profound documentary-style pictures is virtually unparalleled for someone not yet 40.
The surfer kid who snuck his camera into Live Aid in 1985 is now a married father of two and has had his work appear in Vanity Fair, Spin, Rolling Stone, GQ, Esquire, New York Magazine, The New Yorker, and The New York Times magazine. He has interned and worked for masters of the genre, including Timothy White, Annie Leibowitz, and Mark Ellen Mark. He gleaned what he could and struck out on his own.
