Here are some pictures from our after-school program Stoked Plus: Skateboard Build at City Polytechnic High School in downtown Brooklyn. Before we start building skateboards, our young Stokers learn problem solving and team building skills. It takes about 4-5 people to help you just glue your board together in 7 minutes so we’re training them to be successful before they actually build a board. Eventually, you’ll see these students snowboarding, skateboarding, and surfing with a mentor in the near future. First up, build a skateboard!
