

Stoked is very excited to announce the launch of a long partnership with Skullcandy, the company that has revolutionized the headphone industry that is also one of the headlining brands within the action sports industry. The yearlong collaboration will be officially launched at the Skullcandy sponsored 2010 Stoked Awards on November 10, 2010 in New York City. This is not only an unprecedented relationship for Stoked and Skullcandy; it is also a groundbreaking cause marketing initiative within the action sport industry.
Skullcandy, one of the most dynamic bands out there, will support Stoked by leveraging the various platforms and resources within its brand, including its athletes, technology innovation, design team, and corporate network. Over the next year, Skullcandy will be an integral part of Stoked’s events, Stoked’s mentoring programs, and the Stoked Plus apprentice program. Stoked teens will have the opportunity to visit the Skullcandy headquarters in California, where they will see the behind-the-scenes corporate environment of a major player in the action sports industry. Skullcandy athletes will attend Stoked program surf, skate, and snow sessions, becoming real-life role models for the teens. Stoked youth will also have the opportunity to work directly with Skullcandy designers and artists to design a limited edition Stoked x Skullcandy headphone. (I know…I want to be a Stoked kid too!)
Like all of Stoked’s partnerships, the youth in Stoked’s programs are the real beneficiaries of the collaboration. However, it will also provide Skullcandy an opportunity to give back to the action sport industry and further align its corporate identity with the Stoked values and ideals. Stoked is proud to be associated with the Skullcandy brand, its athletes, and its products and we can’t wait to see what lies ahead in the continual evolution of cause marketing and this relationship!
