Last Sunday, November 14 our amazing friends from the NY Snowboarding Group hosted a “Swap and Fundraiser” for Stoked at the Nike Stadium on Bowery. The afternoon featured exciting raffle prizes, silent auction items, free drinks and treats and a mini-Burton sample sale! Not bad for a Sunday afternoon… The NYSG represented, with many snowboarding faithfuls showing up to swap and donating their gear.
The day was a success, Stoked ended up with over 40 snowboards for our youth programs and over 20 pairs of Snowboarding boots. Throughout the day, NYSG also fundraised over $1,000 for Stoked’s Snow Mentor Program. We can’t thank the NYSG enough for its hard work and support on our behalf.
