Weekend Recap NY: Serve and Skate

This Saturday, November 13, was our second Stoked to Serve: Serve and Skate of the season! With a group of 17, and led by local horticulturalist David, we worked in the garden of the Transitional Living Community in East New York for a couple of hours. Projects included turning over a heap of compost, raking up leaves, and turning soil in the paths. Following our work in the garden was a skate session! With beautiful weather and a mix of beginner and experienced skaters, it was a great day.
