Mentor Activity New York: Landscapes of Extraction exhibit

Are you in the mood to learn more about what’s happening to our environment? How much do you know about the fossil fuels industry? Recently opened, this exhibit at The Cooper Union features the work of photographer J Henry Fair, and “depicts the impact of the massive industrial energy sites of the world and the shockingly altered and polluted landscapes and fresh water supplies they manifest.” The gallery is open Monday – Friday, 12-7pm, and Saturdays 12-5pm. Click here for more exhibit information! Located at 30 Cooper Square (Third Avenue at Seventh Street) in Manhattan, this gallery is free and open to the public.
