Mentor Activity: Cherry Blossom Festival at Descanso Gardens- Saturday, March 19th 2011 at 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Ready for Spring? The flowering of cherry trees is celebrated around the world as a herald of spring. Witness a traditional Japanese tea ceremony or watch a demonstration of Japanese cooking. Take a guided walk of the flowering cherry trees in the Descanso landscape, purchase a cherry tree to take home and get expert advice on cherry tree care.
On Saturday, March 19th from 9AM-5PM located at Descanso Gardens, come participate in all the activities and enjoy the festival!
All activities are free with admission: $8 adults, $6 seniors/students, $3 children 5-12; 4 and younger enter free.

Mentor Activity: I Love Vinyl- Sunday, March 20th 2011 at 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
Music fans: come out for an afternoon of record spinning and music appreciation! All different styles of music will be represented. A very special event for those who appreciate and love playing, hearing and collecting vinyl. Free BBQ food and drinks!
On Sunday, March 20th from 12PM to 6PM located at Dr. Freecloud’s Record Shoppe, come listen, dance and appreciate some great music!
