Stokers, Team Stoked Los Angeles needs and wants your support! Come out and support the wonderful fundraising Team Stoked as they run 26.2 miles this Sunday. There will be several Stokers running including Stoked LA’s very own Vinson Han, Miki Reynolds, and Charlie Phillips.
-Vinson is a mentee who is very creative with art and computers. He loves to snowboard and has been perfecting his 180′s in the park this year. Vinson is going to speed past all of us and shoot for his goal of a sub-four hour marathon time.
-Miki Reynolds, Stoked Mentor for the past three years is an avid runner. She completed the LA Marathon last year and has been Team Stoked LA’s biggest fundraiser. Thanks Miki!
-Charlie Phillips, the Los Angeles Program Coordinator, is also running his 2nd LA Marathon.

Stokers, come out and show your support for Team Stoked! The “LA Matsuri Taiko Drummers” will be at 1st Street/ Grand Avenue, where there is a Metro Station two blocks away, the Civic Center Station (purple & red lines). This is an excellent spot to watch the marathon – great live music and a fun atmosphere! It’s at mile #4 and runners will be passing there around 8:00 -8:30 AM, as the race starts at 7:30 AM. Is 1st & Grand too far away? Here is the course map.
Keep an eye out for your fellow Stokers in their Team Stoked jerseys! Please come out and cheer Team Stoked along. We’ll see you there!
