Stoked recently received a $3,000 Community Action grant from the Gannett Foundation, a corporate foundation sponsored by Gannett Company, a media and marketing solutions company with a diverse portfolio of broadcast, digital, mobile and publishing companies. The Gannett Foundation supports education and neighborhood improvement, economic development, youth development, community problem-solving, assistance to disadvantaged people, environmental conservation and cultural enrichment. This grant will support Stoked’s 2011 youth development programs in New York City. We are so grateful to the Foundation for its generous donation and belief in our programs for New York City youth from under-served communities.
