This Saturday, Stoked held its most attended Skate Mentor program day ever! 54 Stokers, 37 of which were youth from the Stoked after-school program as well as partner organizations, headed out to McCarren Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, for 2 hours of a community service mulching project, followed by a great skate session! Aided by perfect weather and 10 enthusiastic volunteers, Stokers worked on everything from learning to balance on a board to perfecting an ollie, and two talented teams won KCDC Skate Shop gift cards by winning relay races!
