The New Village Music Festival was created in 2007 as a vehicle to unite people of all ages and ethnicity. An event that celebrates music, culture and community. One of the initial goals of this festival was to promote local performing artists. It was inevitable that this event would also highlight the importance of local community organizations that focus on music, performing arts, and cultural arts programs for children and families. A free outdoor concert that celebrates the past, the present and the future of music.
At 12PM on Saturday, July 23rd, come to Tompkins Square Park and watch as supporters, performers and sponsors alike contribute to supporting the community, culture and arts programs. Filled with all types of music from Latin Pop and Salsa to Reggae Dancehall and hip hop this festival is sure to be fun for everyone!
