This summer Stoked embarked on a surfing safari! Stoked LA surfed the southern California coast from Malibu down to San Clemente. Over 50 Stokers learned to surf and most paddled into waves on their own!
Stokers got a taste of the pro-circuit too. They attended the US Open of Surf and the X-Games. See pictures from those events and other surf mentor days on flickr.
In addition to surfing, stokers did community service. Last weekend they participated in the California Coastal Cleanup day at Venice Beach, the Sunshine State’s largest volunteer event of the year.
Lastly, Stoked was honored to participate in The People’s Fleet, a three months-long fundraiser for a select number of non-profits in Los Angeles. Stoked was awarded $5,000 on September 22 for its participation in the program.
This program would not have been possible without the help of participating local surf schools.
