A ‘Quik’ History of Quiksilver and STOKED

It’s a pleasure to recognize our supporters and today STOKED would like to thank the Quiksilver Foundation for their longstanding support.

Seven years ago the Quiksilver Foundation donated six surfboards to our first Surf Mentor program. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that we’ve kept afloat in large part because of the sustained support we receive from this company.

The Quiksilver Foundation now donates between $10,000 and $15,000 annually to help cover program costs and general operations. They’ve sponsored our 2011 Stoked to Serve community service initiative and various surf, skate and snow programs we’ve run.

In 2009 we honored the Quiksilver Foundation at the Stoked Awards for their generous contributions. Since they first began supporting us in 2005, they’ve donated more than $100,000 in both product and dollar amounts.

On behalf of the youth we serve and the adult community we engage, thank you Quiksilver Foundation!
