How do you teach someone that the more you fall the more opportunities there are to get back up? By going through it yourself. Here’s a rundown of the 2012 Snow Mentor program!
The Role of a Volunteer
Sport volunteers are an essential part of Stoked. In fact, we wouldn’t function without you guys and we are extremely grateful for your continued support. Volunteers are expected to teach (and mentor, if applicable) youth to snowboard while creating an encouraging and supportive environment for them. In addition volunteers should be positive role models and ambassadors of Stoked values for the youth.
Equipment: What we Have
We provide all necessary equipment (boards, boots, helmets, goggles, jackets, snow pants and gloves) for the youth and you. If you have your own snow gear by all means feel free to use it but Stoked is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Snacks and lunch are also provided but if you have special dietary needs please plan to BYO.
