Steve Larosiliere, President & Founder

Steve Larosiliere founded STOKED in 2005 and oversees the programmatic and administrative sides of the organization’s operations. Prior to founding STOKED, Steve worked at Mentoring USA as a mentor recruiter where he advocated for foster care youth by presenting the benefits of mentoring to corporations and government officials. In addition, he served as a mentor to foster care youth for eight years. He holds a BA in History from Stony Brook University and an MPA from Baruch College School of Public Affairs. In addition to snowboarding really big, steep mountains, skating around Brooklyn, running marathons, and reading lots of books, Steve loves spending time with his wife Ashley, baby boy Toren, and dog Dash.

Antonia Smith, Director of Programs and Operations

Antonia supervises both the regional programs and operations for New York and Los Angeles.  Before joining STOKED, Antonia directed arts and education programs at Greenwich House and The Children’s Aid Society in Greenwich Village for eight years.  Antonia is a doctoral student in the History and Education program at Teachers College Columbia University where she served as a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Center for History and Education.  She also volunteers as the Program Coordinator for the S.O.S. Tutoring Program for court-involved youth at the Eastern District of New York.  Antonia earned her B.A. from the University of Chicago and an M.A. from Teachers College. When not at work trying to make the world a better place, you can find Antonia hiking in the woods, eating spicy food, or scuba diving somewhere warm and tropical!


Hannah manages and facilitates all programming based in New York City. She also collaborates in volunteer recruitment and retention. Before joining STOKED, Hannah was an English Teaching Assistant in Bogotá, Colombia with the Fulbright program. She also has experience creating and implementing civic engagement programs for youth and young adults. Hannah is a proud New Yorker and sees STOKED as her opportunity to pay it forward. Hannah is passionate about volunteering and traveling. Outside of STOKED, she can be found in a boxing class, at a spoken word showcase, spending time with family, at a local bookstore or checking out a new restaurant.


Molly comes to New York by way of Buffalo, New York and with Hannah, is also responsible for managing and facilitating a;; programming in New York City . She has been snowboarding and skateboarding since she was 14 and is an Action Sports super-fan.  Outside of STOKED, Molly loves spending time outside  - preferably on a beach or a mountain and is probably ‘social media’ing her experience. She can be seen riding around Brooklyn on her bike, probably carrying a million things. If not at work, Molly can be found on the rugby pitch playing with The Village Lions Women’s Rugby Club, or assisting with The SunsTruck – a mobile sunsglasses store.

Kathryn James-Jolly, Los Angeles Program Manager
Before joining STOKED in 2012, Kat worked as the Assistant Director of the Women’s Center at San Francisco State University and interned at sexual and domestic violence centers while completing her degree in Sociology. Kat is an avid snowboarder and loves the mountains of Big Bear and Snow Summit, LA’s own backyard. Outside of STOKED, Kat can be seen skating around the streets of Los Angeles, hiking local trails, bicycling, sailing, and wakeboarding. Kat is also passionate about traveling and volunteering and has ventured on many solo backpacking trips all over the world.
Barakaat Livan, New York After School Coach

Barry is a New York native and has been skating for over 10 years. STOKED serves as his outlet to inspire kids. Outside of Barry’s involvement with STOKED, he produces works of short fiction that he sells independently. Barry likes to spend his time with his girlfriend Erica, enjoying good dinners, movies, walks, and the arts. Barry also works in the STOKED office with Program Coordination.

Harmeet Kala, New York After School Coach

Harmeet is a contemporary New Yorker by way of Cleveland, Ohio. His passion for music began at Ohio State University where as a full time student he DJ’d and met creatives with a shared love of music and entrepreneurial spirit and also where he initiated, nurtured and fostered his career in marketing. Innovative companies such as The FADER, Cornerstone and PUMA, programs for LaFace, Sony, Sprite, Microsoft, adidas, Paramount Pictures and Nike received the benefit of Harmeet’s sensibilities and insights. Like many, the India born Brooklynite hones his cultural and creative spirit engaging in NY culture, taking photos, playing basketball and riding his bike and along the way, missing his mother’s cooking.


David Ma, New York After School Coach

Dave is a native of Hartford, Connecticut and has been skateboarding for over 10 years.  He attended Connecticut College where he got his BA in Psychology, and is thrilled to be able to work with youth and share his love of skateboarding.  In his free time, Dave is involved in acting and music, having sang and played guitar in numerous bands over the years.  He is currently in the process of starting a new project with some former bandmates from college.  In addition to coaching for Stoked, Dave works as a booking agent for the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre where he also takes classes and performs improv comedy.

molly sievert, los angeles AFTER SCHOOL COACH

Before moving to Los Angeles in 2013, Molly lived in St. Louis, where she studied Printmaking and Drawing. Molly developed her passion for youth development and outdoor education while working as a summer camp counselor and wilderness orientation leader. She loves using hands-on activities as a vehicle for character building, and is excited to be learning new skills through STOKED. Outside of STOKED, Molly works freelance in production and illustration. She lets loose by lobbing balls with her dodgeball league, going to live concerts, and exploring California.


Jeremi dudu, Los Angeles After School Coach
Jeremi is from Alhambra, CA, and “was rejected by every college I applied to as a senior in HS.” He overcame adversity and attended Santa Monica College for 3 years before  applying to University of Southern California on a full scholarship. Previously Jeremi was a Social Media Manager at a PR agency called JCI Worldwide . In addition to coaching, he freelances with a YouTube network called Awesomeness TV where he manages an entertainment site. He’s been skateboarding for 12 years and it has helped me open up to new cultures and think more in a global perspective.
