Through a new partnership with the Prospect Park Audubon Center, Stoked Mentoring will match Brooklyn mentees and their mentors for a year, to surf, snowboard and skateboard together. Throughout the months mentors will provide guidance and support for teens who need it most.
Through the generous support of Together Green, Stoked Mentoring has partnered with the Prospect Park Audubon Center to expand the program to include environmental action and awareness. The Audubon Center will host training and information sessions, infuse environmental awareness into the programming and provide the Center for the group’s environmental exploration and education.
Applicants must be 25 years of age or older to apply

The Audubon Center is the result of a trailblazing partnership between the Prospect Park Alliance and Audubon New York. The first urban-area Audubon Center in the nation, it is a place of active discovery with hands-on exhibits and innovative programming for children and adults. Exhibits allow visitors to explore the world of nature through interactive technology, using the Park’s diverse natural habitat as a venue for learning and fun. Stoked now has this incredible resource to serve our youth in a deeper fashion, not only enabling them to not just learn life skills, but to learn about environmentalism and conservation with a mentor.
