We recently had our last Mentee in Training (MIT) at Prospect Park. Our partnership with them teaches future Stokers about nature, their environment, and does environmental conservation. By introducing them to nature before they do the sports, our intention is to get the kids more in tune and appreciative of the ocean, mountain, and landscapes. This particular training day had them walk through the park identifying things in nature that represent them. These kids will be matched later this month and will start surfing with their mentor in July!
