We’re looking for a crew of dedicated and loyal volunteers to help teach our kids and mentors how to surf this summer at Rockaway Beach! We will have a big group of kids this year so we’ll need lots of volunteers who can help our youth catch their first wave!

Part of your duties are to: 
1. Safety – keep your eyes on your pairs and the session
2. Fun – share your love for the ocean and surfing with everyone
3. Respect – please respect the Stoked environment and the relationship between mentor and mentee
4. Encouragement – don’t be afraid to gently challenge the youth and the adults to push themselves

We’re asking that all volunteers be experienced surfers.

Here are the program dates: July 11, 18, August 1, 8, 22, 29, September 12 and we’ll have 2 program sessions a morning and an afternoon session each day.

At this orientation you will learn more about the Surf program, sign up for dates, and get a training on working with our youth.
