Stoked Mentoring

Jordan Kelly Fund

September 28th, 2009 by stokedsteve

It is with pleasure that we present this great opportunity. Months ago, we were approached by Grain Surfboards and the family of Jordan Kelly to have a fund in his honor. Jordan passed away last November and was an extremely talented young man with a lot of potential. His family wanted to do something to keep his name alive. What started off as an idea to take a few kids up to Grain’s Surfboard Building School, transformed into an idea to help start a surfboard building after-school program. In the short term, the fund will be used to continue our Stoked Plus: skateboard building program with the long term plan of developing a surfboard building program for our kids. We’re grateful to the family for entrusting us with this honor. We’re holding a raffle to help fund this initiative.
