Week #4: Progress and Momentum

Last week was super busy. I set a goal to garner more matching gifts and I'm happy to report that we did. I was successfully able to raise another $25,000, bringing our matching gift total to $50,000. So we're raising our goal to 500 Igniters for this campaign. The overall goal to get to 1,000 Igniters this year.

The message is that these 1,000 Igniters will help us create more fearless leaders in our youth.

We also have a draft of our video that we're tweaking, making a logo for STOKED Igniter campaign, and I think we came up with a big idea to help extend the reach of the campaign.

The big idea that we came out of meetings with our PR team and various stakeholders was creating a viral campaign. We're still calling it the Fearless Leaders Challenge. It's our version of the Ice Bucket Challenge. If you think for 5 seconds, you'll figure it out. But I'll announce more next week.

Earlier this week, I was able to get on the radio here in Chicago and do a few interviews with iHeart Radio where I announced the campaign. This next week, I'm recruiting a team of current Igniters to help promote the campaign as well as lining up my list of people that I want to join the Igniters on June 5.

So much to do... and we're less than 2 weeks away!
